Susan is a Lancashire-based writer and filmmaker working across short film and theatre. Since 2016, she’s developed projects with Wasp Video, creating character-driven stories that blend dark humour with emotionally grounded themes. She holds an MA (Distinction) in Comedy Writing.
Susan’s work explores people navigating systems, relationships, and shifting realities, with an emphasis on tone, character, and narrative precision.

John Corrin
John founded Wasp Video over 15 years ago and started out with a focus on filming music videos, festivals and producing visual accompaniments to artists at live shows. He then took the live visual portion of his work on extensive tours of the UK, Europe and parts of the US.
Around 2018 the focus then shifted to producing short films, producing numerous works that have screened across the world and won awards for directing, writing, cinematography and audio.
